Short version

1. Who is responsible

TimedPrep (timedprep.com) is operated by a sole proprietor based in Ukraine, who decides how the data described here is used. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

When you take a free test (no account)

For each test attempt we store:

We use this to score your test, to show you how your result compares with others, to calibrate how hard each question is, and to measure which ads work.

We may show aggregate statistics on the site, for example how a score ranks among everyone who took a test, or how many tests were completed. We never show data about an individual.

Visit and error log

So that a broken page is noticed by us before it costs you a test, the site keeps a short technical log under the same anonymous ID: the first page of a visit with where the visit came from (as described above), which page or screen was opened, error messages produced by our own code, and steps of the payment window (opened, closed, completed, or the payment provider's error text). Each entry also holds your country code, the width of your window and the name and version of your browser and system (for example "Chrome 141 / Android"), not the full browser string. For a buyer the entries are filed under a one-way code derived from the account, never under the email address. Entries are deleted after 90 days.

Reports and requests you send us

If you use the "Something off in this question?" link in your dashboard, we store which question it was, the test and attempt it belonged to, the anonymous ID and the note you typed, if any. If you tell us which test you would like us to add, or what your invitation calls a test, we store that choice or text with the anonymous ID, the country code and the source of the visit. Do not put personal details in these notes: they are read by us to fix questions and to decide what to build.

Anonymous counters

We count a few moments on the site, such as a visit arriving, a test starting or finishing, the pricing section being seen, or a purchase completing. Each count holds only the day, the event, the source and the country. The counters contain no ID and cannot be traced back to a person.

When you buy

We send only emails connected to your purchase or your requests: sign-in codes, access details, a discount code if we offer you one, and support replies.

3. What we do not collect

We never see or store your card number or other payment details. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. We do not ask for your name, postal address, employer, résumé or identity documents, and the free test never asks for an email address.

The site is meant for adults applying for jobs. It is not directed at children under 16.

4. Why we use it

To give you the access you paid for, score your tests and show your progress, answer support requests, improve the questions, measure our advertising, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.

Where the law asks for a legal basis: we process buyers' data to perform our contract with you, accounting records to meet legal obligations, and free-test records and counters on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving the service.

5. What is stored in your browser

We use your browser's local storage, not cookies, for:

You can remove all of it at any time by clearing the site data for timedprep.com in your browser settings. Clearing it also breaks the link between you and your past free-test attempts: after that, nobody, including us, can tell which attempts were yours.

Cookies and advertising. We set no advertising cookies. If we measure Google Ads conversions, Google's tag may set its own first-party cookie on timedprep.com so that a purchase can be attributed to an ad click. We do not send your email address, answers or scores to Google. You can refuse this cookie by blocking cookies for timedprep.com in your browser settings, and you can control ad personalization in Google's ad settings. The site works the same either way.

6. Who else processes it

We do not sell personal data and we do not give your email address, answers or scores to advertisers. These providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States.

7. How long we keep it

You can ask us to delete your account data sooner. When we delete an account, your past attempts stay only as anonymous records with no link to your email.

8. Your rights

Write to [email protected] to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, the UK or California you have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to object and the right to complain to your data protection authority; we apply the same standard to everyone, wherever you live.

9. Changes

If we change what we collect, this page is updated first, with a new "last updated" date. See also our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
