These tests are built so that you run out of time

14.4 sper question on the Wonderlic and the PI: 50 questions in 12 minutes (Wonderlic, The Predictive Index)
Under 1%of candidates answer all 50 CCAT questions (Criteria Corp)
24 of 50is the average CCAT score (Criteria Corp)

Nobody is expected to finish. The points go to the people who know the question types on sight and let go of a question the moment they are stuck. Both are habits, and habits are trained on a clock, not by reading.

What the free test tells you

Sample report · CCAT practice test

A sample result: 22 of 50 correct, 36 questions reached before the clock stopped, 6 questions that should have been skipped.

A sample report from a made-up run of this free test, scored by the same code as yours. Yours appears the moment the clock stops.

Where you stand

Your score, an estimated percentile and how far you got before the clock stopped you. On the CCAT, also the job families whose suggested score range you already reach.

Where the time went

Seconds on every question, your pace against the pace that finishes, and the list most people never see: the questions you should have skipped, with what they cost you.

What to fix first

Right and wrong by question type, so you know whether to spend tonight on word problems, on series or on pacing.

Try one question first

Sample question · Number series · written by TimedPrep

What number comes next in the series? 31, 56, 81, 106, 131, ?

  1. 156
  2. 157
  3. 158
  4. 166
  5. 181

That was one question, with no clock. The Wonderlic and the PI give you 14.4 seconds for each of 50, the CCAT 18.

Why practice here

Questions that do not run out in a weekend

Six full timed tests each for the Wonderlic, the CCAT and the PI. Then drills from a separate pool of 1,214 questions: within a type, nothing repeats until you have done them all.

Every answer checked by machine

Number, series, logic and figure questions are generated by code, and each key is re-derived by a separate checker. Word questions were solved blind, twice, by independent AI solvers.

The rules of your test, not a generic quiz

No going back on our Wonderlic and CCAT tests, the way candidates report the real ones; skip and return on the PI, as its publisher describes. The number of answer choices and the guessing rule of each test.

Made for two or three days

No 12 hours of video. Short sessions: a test, the list of what to fix, a 5-minute drill on exactly that, and a pace set.

One price, paid once

Start with the free test. Buy only if the result shows something worth fixing.

Questions people ask

How close is this to the real test?

Same format: the same number of questions, the same time limit, the same question types and the same number of answer choices. The questions themselves are written by us. Nobody can sell you the real ones: each candidate's test is drawn from a large private bank, so you will meet new questions on test day either way. What carries over is the pace and knowing every question type on sight.

What do I get for free?

One full-length timed test for each exam, with no email and no sign-up. When the clock stops you see your score, an estimated percentile where the publisher gives figures for one, how far you got, your accuracy by question type, the seconds you spent on every question and the questions you should have skipped. Answers and explanations are open for the first 10 questions.

What is the difference between $29 and $49?

$29 opens one exam: the rest of its full timed tests, an explanation for every question, the full result report after each test, the mistake notebook and a cheat sheet. $49 is the same exam plus the trainer: drills by question type, a weak-spot drill after each test, the pace trainer and a plan to your test date, and the general cognitive tests on top. Each plan covers the one exam you choose.

How fast do I get access?

The moment the payment goes through. The page opens your dashboard directly, and we email you a sign-in link. There is no password: on another device you enter your email and we send a 6-digit code.

Is it a subscription? How long do I keep access?

No subscription. You pay once and keep access for 12 months. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. Write to support@timedprep.com within 14 days of purchase and we refund the full price, no reason needed, as long as you have started no more than one paid test and answered no more than 30 trainer questions. If something is broken on our side, tell us at any time: we fix it, or refund you in full if we cannot.

Is the payment secure? Who charges my card?

Secure payment by Paddle. We never see your card number. The payment is processed by Paddle, our payment partner and merchant of record, and the charge appears on your statement as PADDLE.NET*TESTPREP.

Can practice really raise a score on these tests?

Yes. These tests are short on time by design, so the score depends on two habits: recognizing a question type at a glance, and dropping a question the moment it stalls you. Both improve quickly with timed practice. What nobody can honestly sell you is a promised score, so we sell the practice.

My test is tomorrow. Is there time?

Yes. The product is built for a deadline of two or three days. One evening is enough for a full test, the list of what to fix, and a drill on exactly that.

I do not know which test my employer uses. What should I take?

Use the helper further down this page: the time limit and the names in the invitation usually settle it. If they do not, take the general cognitive test, which covers the question types these tests share.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The tests and the dashboard are built for a phone first, and the same sign-in works on a computer. Practice on the device you will take the real test on.

Not sure which test it is?

Look at the invitation email. Three details usually settle it.

More detail: how to tell which test you got.
